I’m bit of a fan of google and dropbox services. After thrashing out the competition to figure out a solution for a client I discovered that nothing touches the reliability and simplicity of these two services.
Gmail and it’s calendar and contacts system paired with dropbox for file sharing, computer sync and cloud storage is an amazing partnership.
When setup right, it doesn’t matter what machine or phone you use – if it gets broken or lost, you should be able to simply login to another machine and have all your data. The way I setup people into gmail and dropbox makes this possible. This makes updating machines a cinch and turns disasters into minor annoyances.
